Here is Ryan unwrapping his star wars light saber with spring action! very important when you're 3! Also proof that he did unwrap his presents. He'll be happy to know that 20 years down the road.

This is spider man I mean Ryan, he thought he was tricking everyone. He went up to his Friend Tyson and lifted his mask half way up so Tyson could see part of his face and said "don't worry it's only me Tyson". He is hilarious. I also made him sit on the potty after presents and he says protesting, " Mom superhero's don't go potty" and I said, "yes they do everyone goes potty", I won that argument. Ryan had so much fun and loved his party. He still talks about how his party was so "cool" and "awesome" and how he got to fight "uncle Nate". Elle even asks me if we can do his party again. It was a blast.

He got a Spider man costume for dress up, he is being batman for Halloween.

This is him in his dress up which he has to wear everyday by the way. he also wants to wear his batman one, but I won't let him until Halloween.

Here is Elle with her best friend Ashley (belle) and her friend Taska. They are too cute! Ashley came as belle because belle saves the beast and so she is a superhero.

Ryan opening presents. Look at the evil eye he is giving me because I had to help him pull the present out of the bag. It was a CD player and too heavy for him to pull out by himself, but I think he wanted all the unwrapping glory for himself.

Here is a great shot of Venom, while Nate stood up all the kids were lined up in front of the garage door throwing water balloons at other villains we pinned up, but Ryan saw venom stand up out of the corner of his eye and became very concerned. I would say scared, but Ryan would argue with that he says " I'm not scared". But because I am his mother and I saw the fear in his eyes, I told him in his ear that it was ok, because it was really uncle Nate and he was just dressed up. In this situation I had to reveal his identity to save Ryan from a meltdown on his birthday. After he realized it was uncle Nate and not Venom back from the dead for revenge, he relaxed and finished throwing water balloons.

Then we moved right along to the pinata. Here is Ryan up to bat,

This is Ryan's totally awesome cake made by mom. I asked Woody if he thought My cake making skills were good enough for me to be on Ace of Cakes and he said no. Talk about crushing my dreams! Any way I planned on doing cupcakes, but Ryan was adamant about having an awesome superhero birthday cake, so we did both. I just stuck all his toys on top and that was good enough for him.

Ryan's super Hero party! Sept. 13th 2008

These are all the kids lined up waiting to do the superhero training course. Woody told them all to flex like superhero's and say GRRRR! I guess he's trying to teach them how to be intimidating, to me they just look adorable. Left to right Justin (Ryan's cousin), Ryan "superman" Woods, Phala (Ryan's cousin), Tyrus Vogt (ry's buddy), Elle Woods, Ashley King (Elle's best friend), Tyson king- I mean spider man, and Jordan King as batman.

after all our superhero's completed their training they were ready to help spidey defeat venom. They all had webs (silly string) to help them do this. Spidey played by Woody, Venom played by uncle Nate. As soon as spidey made his surprise appearance, Elle says its daddy! I said " No it's spidey" but she was very insistent, "no it's daddy" then I said "Elle we never reveal the secret identity of superhero's. shhhhh"! Later I asked her why she thought spider man was daddy and she said because he was wearing white shoes and spider man doesn't wear white shoes, but daddy does. I guess 4 1/2 is the age when they are too smart to be fooled by us adults.

Jack's baby shower continued

so this is my first time blogging and I don't know how to get all the pictures on one page so I have to continue in stages (Sorry!).Aunt Tammy gets these adorable buckets for my kids every time I have a baby. Elle has one and Ryan too. They are soooo cute and now Jack has one. They love their buckets. Ryan fills his with toys and carries it all around the house!

Inside the bucket was this cute tile that Aunt Tammy had made for Jack. She always gives the best gifts! (Woody's sister)

This was the beautiful and very delicious cake that Dianne made for my shower. It was the hit of the party. Jeri weight and Shenna Mealy were taking pictures of it with their camera phones to show their girls.

Tammy and Dianne did such a wonderful job with the table decor. They broke out their fancy dishes (we usually use paper plates, but these girls know how to party!).

Jack's baby shower, september 12th 2008

Jack's baby shower was really fun, Tammy and Dianne did an awesome job! Tammy is measuring my tummy in this picture. Everyone had to cut a piece of string that would fit around my belly. whoever got the closest to my exact size won. I can't remember who won (pregnancy brain). That excuse won't work anymore after I have the baby.

This is a good side view of Baby Jack! I feel like a whale. My due date is October 1st so any day now, hurry Jack.
